BKC Aggregators has been working in area of advisories to the farmers through an app named Fasal Salah . Through this app the farmers get weather advisory in advance which is especially related to the crops that they grow. The service has been in successful operations with a large number of farmers. Advisories are fully automated which takes into account farmers crop, its variety, date of sowing and inputs from pictures. Advisories are generated automatically based on weather forecast for next 10 days. Unlike most of the apps no body is writing advisories for individual farmers. This gives farmer an insight what he is supposed to do in upcoming days also helps him in reducing input cost. Using artificial intelligence for image processing and crop modelling analytics we have been able to generate an algorithm for calculation of yield of the crop well before the harvest. Thus it is possible now to have an accurate estimate of the crop before it is harvested by the farmers. Aggregation of this technology on mass scale will lead to a situation where in the production estimate of the crop will be available in good time for planning of import as well as Exports. Our technology is an endeavor to have an authentic and objective crop yield estimation possible before actual harvest.This technology can be used by Agri-input industry, Central and State Government agencies, FPOs, Agri-businesses and individual farmers alike.
